Children eyeglasses are slightly different than adult eyeglasses. They are stronger and protected with a layer of scratch resistant coating. Scratch resistant coating prevents the lens from getting scratches. Though it is impossible for the lens to be without scratches, scratch resistant coating significantly reduces the change of it getting scratches.
